Bula vinaka, my name is Waiari.
I was born in Fiji. My dad is Fijian and Maori and my mum is Korean. I am in Year 4 and am 8 years old. I love to play netball and volleyball. I have  3 sisters and 1 brother. We also have a cat. My cat's name is Ninja.

I go to Tamaki Primary School.
Two of my sisters come to  my school as well. Their names are Aja and Iolani. Aja is 12 years old and Iolani is 6 years old . Aja is a Year 7/8 and Iolani is a Year 2. One of my sisters go to Auckland Girls Grammar. My big brother goes to One Tree Hill College. On Sundays we always go to church.

I have a teacher that is Fijian Indian. My teacher's name is Reshly Harrsion. She is a good teacher to me and I really like her.

I want to be a lawyer when i grow up and a good reader. I always try my best and work hard to complete all my work. I like to swim and have lots of fun with my friends. This year i want to encourage people and show all our school values all the time. My challenge is to learn how to read difficult words and do my timetables. I like to read and write everyday. My mum also reads and writes because she wants to be a lawyer too.

I’m also good at doing cartwheels. My favourite singer is Dove Cameron. My favourite movie is Descendants 1 and 2. When i play with people, I always ask them if they want to play a game because I love playing games. Nitika is a friend of mine who inspires me because he plays with me and has conversations with me. He is also my cousin.

I’m sometimes proud of myself because I love working and I try hard not to give up. I want to be able to complete all tasks, especially the ones that I find really challenging.

I can't wait to start blogging and sharing all my learning with everyone!
