3 things that are important in my life

Kia orana, today I will be telling you three things that are important to me in my life and why.

The first thing that is important is my family because they do every thing for me and we all take good care of eachother, we look out for one another and we do fun activitys togather too.

The second thing thats important is Jesus chirst because he did everything for us, he died for us and he made everythig for us so we can live.

The third thing will probaly be Education because having a education will help me progress in life.

Achieving my dreams

Kia orana my name is Waiari. I will be talking about my dreams.

So for my dream I want to be a Volleyball player and a Basketball player.

For basketball my brother teaches me how to shoot and block. He helps me to learn how to play also.
He also does that for me in volleyball. He helps me to learn to spike, recieve, serve and set.
So for me my brother is the one that can help me acheive my dream!

Interviewing a Basketball player

If I could interview a Basketball play it will be Kyrie irving.

If I had 3 questions to ask him it will be

1.Could I use some tips for dribbling

2.Teach me how to crossover

3.How to defend?

  1. invisble-Why? Because I would like want to hide and play tricks on people.
  2. Fly-Why? Because I would want to fly through the sunset and get to places quicker.
  3. Flash-Why?Because I want to be fast enough to race people and to race a really fast car.

Doing something brave!!

 Once upon a time

me and my friend was walking to the park as we were walking we saw a puppy.

That puppy was shivering and was afraid to death.

So my friend went to put her jumper around her.

(Aww)

After a few minutes my friend took her somewhere warm and where she could be safe.

After that we left it alone and we left to go to the park.

So that is the bravest and cutest thing  my friend has done.

Why is it important to learn how to swim:

Why is it important to learn how to swim:

It is important to learn to swim because you won’t drown or sink, swimming is good exercise and it is fun.

You have to learn how to swim because if you're in the ocean and the waves push you to the far sea, or you get caught in a rip, you won't know what to do and you might drown. Water Safety NZ explains that 82 people drowned in NZ in 2019, 68 people in 2018 and 92 in 2017. Those people wouldn't have drowned if they knew how to swim.

Swimming is a great form of exercising. Why? Because  swimming can help your legs and arms. Also because it's a great sport because it can make you more fitter with your arms and legs.

Swimming is good for old and injured people because it helps their muscles grow at the same time as not putting pressure on their knees and hips.

Why is fun to swim:

It's fun because you can go to a river, waterfall or a beach and swim with your family and friends and you get to have lots of fun. Also you can have picnics and eat kai!!

Swimming is a great skill to have in life!!

What is a smart frootprint.?!?

Question Mark GIFs | Tenor

I think a smart frootprint is... Going on the right sites at the right TIME!!

It is also when you share postive things on your blog, not your  personal info....

Do the right things....

Dont cyberbully, if your not gonna say it to their face..!!

Have a good proflie.....But make sure it is of you!!!!!

Being careful of what you do and what you share to others....

It is like an digital frootprint......Because every time you go on something....IT STAYS THERE...

IT NEVER GOES AWAY!!!!!!!!!

Google hangout!

Kia ora e te whaanau, ko Waiari tooku ingoa. Today I'll be talkig about me, my friends and our pouako on Google hangouts..
Today at 12.00:pm 5 of us were on google hangout call. It was me, Azay, Josh, Delotaye, Whaea Heather and Whaea Lee. We were suppose to be on call at 9.00:am but no one was on except for me. When we all got on the Google hangouts call Whaea Heather was telling us what to do as in tikanga.
We had to mute ourself so we dont talk over each other.
We also had to write Q if we had a question..
We had a nice conversation even though sometimes we were not talking LOL.
Our kaupapa kōrero was to talk about what we are doing during these holidays as it is very different.
But it seemed like all of us didn't even do anything. (Lol)
When we finished talking about our holidays we all had question about their holidays or lockdown.
Then Whaea Lee exited us out through teaching ngā tikanga of a google hangout chat.

mahi toi!

Whainga(WALT) Kia mohio te akonga ki te whakamahi e te peita maa te kaui..

Kia ora e te whaanau!! Ko Waiari tooku igoa and I am here to talk to you all about my mahi toi.
So today March the 20th my akomanga were doing string toi. This is what it looks like.
How we did it was....

  1. Matua or Koka gave us a piece of string dipped into a colour we picked, there were four colours to choose from: kahurangi (blue), whero (red), kaakaariki (green) and parauri (brown).
  2. We had to grab 2 pepa and a book.
  3. I got my piece of string and made a squiggly design on my clean piece of pepa.
  4. Placed my second sheet of paper on top of my string.
  5. Then I placed a book on top of my clean sheet of pepa.
  6. After that I slowly pulled my string out, but I had to make sure that I pulled it straight and slowly to get the tulip look effect.
  7. I repeated the steps above with my second chosen colour.
Ngaa mihi and ka kite anoo!!!!!!!!!!!!

Waiari and Te Ahi- Our new journey in 2020 in Te-Puna-Wairua

Ahi-

kia ora e te  whaanau, Ko Te Ahimairangi tooku ingoa. Today i am going to talk about my  new akomanga Te puna wairua.

My favourite thing about this class is when we do maths called DMIC its cool because we work together with new class mates. At my old school, we had to work by ourselves, but here we get to work together. The next thing is when we finish the morning rehita, we go outside to play games with our teina, we call it whakawhanaungatanga. The other thing that I like about Te Puna Wairua is when we get together the year 4/5/6/7 and 8 and do kapahaka, kapahaka is when we sing and practice our cultural items for the regional comps.

Ka kite anō.
